The way Corona is spreading its foot in India has increased the concerns of the countrymen. On Saturday, around 50,000 new cases of corona were reported in Maharashtra alone. Active cases of corona have increased to 6,58,909 in the country, which means that these patients are still under treatment, which is 5.32 percent of the total cases of infection. In one day there has been an increase of 44,213 in the active cases of Corona. The Union Health Ministry said that there has been a significant increase in new Covid-19 cases in eight states of the country. Of the total corona cases reported in the last 24 hours, 81.42 percent of these cases are from these states. These eight states – Maharashtra, Karnataka, Chhattisgarh, Delhi, Tamil Nadu, Uttar Pradesh, Punjab and Madhya Pradesh. Restrictions have also been imposed in Raipur after Pune to control the corona. Along with this, there is also a preparation to act strictly in many states.

  1. The most uncontrollable situation is in Maharashtra. On Saturday, 49,447 new cases were reported in the state, which is the highest number of cases reported in a single day so far. 9,108 new cases of Covid-19 were reported in Mumbai city, which is the highest in a day. In view of this, emphasis is being laid on increasing the speed of Covid investigation and vaccination in the state. The BMC has informed through a tweet that the vaccination centers will be open on Sunday also and appealed to people to get more number of vaccines.

  2. The Mumbai airport has started immediately imposing fines on passengers violating the Covid-19 protocol. The Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCA) had issued a warning regarding this in view of increasing cases of corona virus infection in Maharashtra and some other states.

  3. In view of increasing cases of corona virus infection in Chhattisgarh, Raipur district administration has decided to keep the weekly market, gym and swimming pool closed. At the same time shops have been allowed to open only from six in the morning to six in the evening. Officials of Raipur district have issued an order to set a time-limit for the operation of business establishments in the municipality and Birgaon as well as all the urban bodies of the district.

  4. In view of increasing cases of corona virus infection in Chhattisgarh, section 144 has been implemented in Raipur, Durg, Bastar, Rajnandgaon and Bilaspur districts of the state. At the same time, the Durg district administration has decided to lockdown the district from April 6 to April 14.

  5. Corona virus vaccination campaign is gaining momentum in Delhi. More than 80,000 people were vaccinated on Saturday, the highest daily number ever. More than half of those taking the vaccine are aged 45–59. According to official figures, by 6 pm the number of vaccinators was 80,797, in which 72,232 people received the first dose of the vaccine.

In the last 24 hours in the state, 15 more people have died due to the disease. So far, the number of people who have died of this disease in the state has reached 4,029.

  7. On Saturday, 2,705 new cases of corona virus infection were reported in Punjab and 1,959 more people were found infected in Haryana during this period. According to the bulletin issued by the Punjab government, 49 more patients died in the state from Covid-19.

  8. In Haryana, ten more patients died of Covid-19 in the last 24 hours. According to a bulletin issued by the Health Department of Haryana, the total number of cases increased to 2,96,229 after the arrival of new infections and the death toll from the epidemic reached 3,184. Currently, 11,787 patients of Covid-19 are under treatment in Haryana.

  9. At the same time, the Rajasthan government has announced that in view of the corona conditions, the state government will take a strict decision in the next 15 days. He tweeted, “Stopping Corona’s growing infection and saving lives is our top priority. After the review meeting on Covid-19 and vaccination, it has been decided that strict decisions will be taken for the next 15 days and detailed guidelines and standard operating procedures will be issued soon in this regard.

  10. In Kerala, 2,541 new cases of corona virus infection were reported on Saturday while 12 patients died. The Health Ministry said that 1,660 patients were healthy, with 11,00,186 people have been freed from the infection so far.
